Hays are excited to collaborate with The North British Distillery in seeking an experienced and driven Procurement Manager. This role offers the unique opportunity to impact the company's direction through strategic procurement initiatives.Founded in 1885, The North British Distillery was born from the vision of independent distillers. Today, they stand as the only Grain Scotch Whisky distillery in Edinburgh. Renowned as one of the most venerable and substantial producers of Scotch grain whisky, their essence lies in the distillation and maturation of grain spirit, the cornerstone of blended whisky. Their product can be found in many well-known international blends such as Johnnie Walker and Famous Grouse. Drawing from the Pentland water source, they encompass the spirit of Scotland with a global footprint.
In 2023, they celebrated their heritage with a special release of 60-year-old single grain Scotch whisky, presented in a distinctive packaging. Each bottle was meticulously hand-filled into a refined, wax-sealed decanter and encased in an exquisite moleskin coffret, accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity. This initiative aims to reach £60,000 for each of the three charities they support: Big Hearts, Scottish Autism, and Four Square.
