Procurement Administrator | Maidstone, Kent | £25,000 - £28,000My client, a leading UK manufacturer, are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Procurement Administrator to join their Operations team.This role will report to the Purchasing Supervisor, and you will play a vital role in ensuring the procurement function runs smoothly, helping to maintain stock availability, manage supplier relationships, and secure goods at the right price.Role and Responsibility
  • Raise and process purchase orders, including drop shipments
  • Place orders with subcontract manufacturers, liaising to confirm specifications
  • Negotiate and follow up on order delivery dates, updating the ERP system
  • Maintain correct stock levels in the right locations
  • Respond promptly and accurately to internal enquiries
  • Request and compare supplier pricing
  • Prepare reports and supporting documents for supplier meetings
Essential skills
  • Previous experience in a procurement, supply chain, or purchasing support role
  • Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
  • Confident communicator, able to build and maintain supplier relationships
  • Comfortable working with ERP systems
