Description

• To carry out re-melting and heat treatment conformance/deviation checks.
• To participate in Initial Product validation projects.
• To generate and circulate technical KPI data.
• To update Raw material purchase specification and supplier quality release overchecks.
• To participate in Internal quality auditing
• To monitor all processes to determine, maintain and improve manufacturing capability.
• Investigation of product non-conformance in conjunction with the technical team.
• Actively pursue cost reduction opportunities through refinement of methods and increased process capability
• Adhere to all Health and Safety policies and procedures and working practices

Profile

· Experience in a hot working environment or melting environment.

· Experience in the application of statistical, root cause and problem solving tools and techniques (such as SPC, FMEA, 8D, Ishikawa, 6 Sigma)

· Has a good awareness of quality approvals such as ISO9001, AS9100, IATF16949.

· Familiarity with specifications and their interpretation.

· Confident IT systems user with experience of Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
