  • Salary: £23,000 to £25,000 (top end salary must have logistics experience)

We are looking for a meticulous Customs Process Administrator to oversee the smooth processing of SCDP Supplementary Declarations for our customers on a month-to-month basis. This role is crucial for maintaining compliance with HMRC rules and ensuring the integrity of customs authorisation. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of customs processes, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Accurate input of Entry Headers, Charges, and Invoice details, ensuring HMRC compliance standards are met.
  • Cross-referencing of shipments with customer-provided information.
  • Processing various Customs processes such as Homeuse, IP, and Bonded Warehousing.
  • Collating and uploading documentation to customer SharePoint accurately.
  • Building strong relationships with team members and customer operational contacts.
  • Maintaining and improving knowledge of Customs Processes and Procedures.
  • Inputting shipment details to create Supplementary Declarations and resolving any CDS errors.
  • Completing Month End checks for the Final Supplementary Declaration.
  • Merging and uploading documents to customer SharePoint and maintaining accurate logs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A good level of numeracy and literacy.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in ASM Sequoia software, CHIEF, CDS (desired but not essential) 
  • Data entry skills - Advanced Excel 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
