Private Client Tax Manager – Exeter

Salary: £50,000 - £62,000 (Dependent on Experience)

This role is ideal for someone with strong private client tax expertise who enjoys building client relationships, managing a portfolio, and mentoring junior team members, while continuing to develop their own career within a respected and growing practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of private client tax clients, providing both compliance and advisory services
• Reviewing and signing off tax returns and other compliance work prepared by junior staff
• Providing support, training, and mentoring to junior team members
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships, advising on tax planning opportunities
• Contributing to business development and assisting in growing the department

Skills & Experience:

• ACA/ACCA/CTA Qualified
• Minimum of five years’ experience working within a UK Practice environment
• Proven experience in managing a portfolio of clients and leading a team
• Strong technical knowledge of private client tax
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
