TPF Recruitment are working with a leading firm of chartered accountants based in Maidstone who are looking to recruit a Private Client Tax Manager into their growing team. About the role:
The firm advises a broad range of clients across the South East, primarily high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), non-domiciled individuals, business owners and some trusts. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients
- Providing tax planning and advisory services, including capital gains tax, inheritance tax
- Reviewing and completing more complex personal tax returns
- Managing HMRC enquiries and responding to both compliance and advisory correspondence
- Mentoring and supporting junior team members with both technical development and day-to-day queries
- Working closely with the Tax Director to drive the continued growth and success of the department
Requirements
- Ideally CTA qualified, or possibly ATT, ACA or ACCA, you’ll have built your personal tax career within an accountancy practice or a specialist tax firm.
- Whether you’ve trained in a Top 10, Top 50 or a larger regional independent firm, your experience will likely have focused on personal tax, with a mix of both compliance and tax planning work.
