About the accountancy firmPentagon Talent are delighted to be partnering with a mid tier leading firm located in a picturesque and busy location in Central London who are known for their very personal and high value service to their clients of various sizes and industries.

Duties and responsibilitiesOut client are on the look out for a driven and talented Private Client Tax Specialist whether that is at Supervisor, Manager or Senior Manager level. In this position you will carry out a range of duties and responsibilities depending on the level, these duties include but are not limited to;

• A mixture of advisory services and tax compliance related to complex affairs, for a portfolio of personal and trust clients.
• Providing support to trainee tax assistants on tax related topics.
• Managing all aspects of your allocated client portfolio including the planning and execution of the work and drafting the correspondence and billing.
• Preparation of tax returns and tax repayment claims and related working papers.
• Managing all aspects of the tax affairs of clients for whom the individual is responsible and where advice spans different areas providing a high level of support to clients.
• Providing ad-hoc/planning advice to clients on tax matters.
• Assisting with other ad-hoc assignments in relation to the financial affairs of clients.
• Giving presentations/briefings to staff on relevant tax topics.
• Managing HMRC queries.

Qualifications and skills requiredIn order to succeed as a Private Client Tax Supervisor/Manager/Senior Manager you will have an extensive background in personal and trust tax, including strong familiarity and experience of domicile and residence issues. You will be CTA qualified and be effective at client handling. You will be technically minded and able to delegate work effectively.
