Private Client Solicitor (2-5 years')

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor (2-5 years'' to join a highly regarded Private Client team in Edinburgh. This is a permanent, client-facing role, offering exposure to a wide variety of private client work and the chance to build strong, long-term client relationships.

The RoleYou will manage a varied caseload, with a primary focus on executries, while also advising on Wills, POA, tax and succession planning, trusts, guardianships and financial affairs for clients. This position provides regular client contact and the opportunity to work within a close-knit, supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing executries, wills, trusts, guardianships and related private client matters
• Advising on tax implications and succession planning
• Delivering high-quality client care and building lasting relationships
• Meeting fee targets, recording time accurately and ensuring compliance with regulations
• Staying up to date with legal developments and contributing to departmental growth

About You

• 2-5 years’ PQE in private client law
• Strong technical knowledge and a commitment to continuous development
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• A proactive approach to case management and business development
