 Senior Associate – Private Client Solicitor / Legal Executive

Location: Yeovil, Somerset | Hybrid & Flexible WorkingFull-Time | 4+ PQE | Structured Path to Partnership

This respected law firm in Somerset is actively looking to recruit a Senior Associate within its Private Client department. This is a standout opportunity for a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive with 4+ years’ post-qualification experience, looking to join a firm that offers high-calibre work, team leadership opportunities and a clear route to partnership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a broad private client caseload including:
  • Drafting Wills
  • Handling full estate administration
  • Trusts and inheritance tax planning
  • Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Court of Protection experience beneficial but not essential
• Work with high-net-worth clients on complex asset structures
• Mentor and oversee junior fee earners across multiple office locations (if required)
• Contribute to team strategy and development

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of 4 years’ PQE
• Strong background in Private Client law – including Wills, Probate, LPA and estate planning
• Ideally STEP qualified or working towards it (not essential)
• Excellent client-facing and mentoring skills
• Proactive, organised and capable of working independently with full admin support
