What you'll do:

In your capacity as a Private Client Solicitor or Associate based in Cheltenham, you will:

• Deliver exemplary fee-earning support within the Private Client Team by managing a varied portfolio of client matters with utmost professionalism and sensitivity.
• Provide comprehensive advice to clients on matters including wills, probate administration, lasting powers of attorney (LPAs), trust establishment and management, estate planning strategies, and tax implications.
• Maintain current knowledge across all facets of Private Client law by engaging collaboratively with colleagues throughout the wider team to share insights and best practices.
• Contribute meaningfully to business development initiatives by identifying networking opportunities both internally and externally to promote the firm's services and facilitate cross-referrals.
• Support the ongoing expansion of the practice by nurturing relationships with existing clients whilst proactively seeking new business opportunities through marketing activities.
• Assist in the management of international assets for clients with cross-border interests by delivering bespoke advice tailored to their specific requirements.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to private family charitable trusts by offering guidance on governance matters, regulatory compliance, and succession planning.
• Participate in mentoring junior members of the team by imparting knowledge and fostering their professional growth within the department.

What you bring:

To excel as a Private Client Solicitor or Associate in this Cheltenham-based appointment, you will bring:

• You are a qualified solicitor possessing between one and five years post-qualification experience (PQE) specifically within Private Client law, demonstrating sound technical proficiency.
