About the Role:

You will join an established and expanding Private Wealth team, taking on responsibility for developing client relationships, supporting junior fee earners and driving the department’s growth. The firm is seeking a confident, commercially minded individual who can contribute to the long-term development of the Huddersfield private client offering.

This is more than a legal advisory role — it’s an opportunity to shape the team’s future direction and position yourself as a senior leader within the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising on complex private wealth and succession planning matters
• Drafting and advising on wills, trusts, probate and lasting powers of attorney
• Providing commercial and tax-efficient advice on capital taxes and estate planning
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members
• Contributing to strategic planning and business development initiatives
• Leading client engagement across high-net-worth individuals and business owners

About You:

• Senior Private Client Solicitor or existing Partner with significant experience in private wealth law
• Strong background in trust-based estate planning, inheritance tax and high-value client work
• A proven track record in client relationship management and business development
• A collaborative and supportive leadership style, with the ability to mentor Junior Solicitors
• Ambitious, commercially aware and committed to long-term career progression
