What you'll do:

In the capacity of Private Client Solicitor based in Bath, you will:

• Independently manage a broad portfolio of private client matters including Wills, Trusts, Estate Administration, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), and Court of Protection applications.
• Consistently deliver exemplary client care by establishing trust-based relationships with clients, professional contacts, and local referrers.
• Work closely with solicitors, legal assistants, support staff, and central teams across multiple offices to ensure seamless delivery of services.
• Assist in nurturing and expanding relationships with existing clients whilst actively participating in business development activities.
• Provide clear and empathetic advice tailored to each client's unique circumstances, ensuring their needs are addressed with sensitivity and professionalism.
• Support the Head of Private Client Team in achieving departmental objectives through effective collaboration and knowledge exchange.
• Uphold the firm's reputation for excellence by adhering strictly to best practices in compliance, confidentiality, and ethical conduct at all times.
• Engage in regular team meetings and training sessions designed to enhance your skills and keep you abreast of developments relevant to private client work.
• Offer guidance or mentorship to junior colleagues or legal assistants as required, fostering an atmosphere of learning and mutual support within the team.

• Possess a minimum of five years' demonstrable experience managing private client matters such as Wills, Trusts, Estate Administration, LPAs, and Court of Protection applications.

• Display excellent interpersonal skills enabling you to foster trust-based relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
