Private Client Senior Associate – Nottingham - Legal 200 firm4 to 8 Year PQE£50,000 to  £85,000The FirmMy client is a long-established and highly regarded Legal 200 firm with a strong national presence and an exceptional reputation in private client work. Their Trusts, Estates and Tax team has achieved Tier 1 recognition in the Chambers and Partners High Net Worth Guide for 15 consecutive years — a testament to the quality and consistency of their service. With a team of 50 dedicated private client specialists across the country, they offer deep expertise and tailored advice to high and ultra-high net worth individuals. Known for their collaborative culture, flexible working practices, and client-focused approach, the firm combines the resources of a national practice with the close-knit support of a regional team.The Role

• Work closely with senior lawyers and directors to manage a high-quality caseload involving wills, trusts, and estate administration
• Handle instructions involving complex assets, including international, agricultural, business, and literary interests
• Advise clients on inheritance tax, estate planning, and succession strategies, often as part of the firm’s cross-departmental Private Wealth Initiative
• Act as a key point of contact for high-net-worth clients and support the delivery of bespoke, commercially focused advice
• Contribute to business development and help mentor junior members of the team

You

• A qualified solicitor with 4–8 years' PQE in private client work
• Experienced in drafting wills, administering estates, and advising on trusts and tax planning
• Able to work independently on complex matters, while also collaborating within a wider team
• Commercially astute with a client-first mindset
• Strong communication skills and confident managing client relationships
• Comfortable with case management systems and modern legal tech
• STEP qualified (or working towards) is preferred
