- Are you a newly qualified Private Client Solicitor looking to work for a well regarded Firm in this field?
Our client are a well-established law firm based in East London, with a strong reputation in conveyancing (both residential and commercial), litigation, family law, and private client services.
Due to a continued period of growth they are seeking a dedicated NQPrivate Client Solicitor to join their well established team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert legal advice on a broad range of private client matters, including wills, trusts, and estate administration.
- Handle probate and intestacy cases, including applications for grants of representation and related inheritance tax matters.
- Draft wills, lasting powers of attorney (covering both property & financial affairs and health & welfare), and manage Court of Protection deputyship applications.
- Maintain a varied caseload with efficiency and a high standard of client care.
- Liaise with financial institutions, HMRC, and other legal professionals as required.
- Stay informed of legislative changes affecting private client law and contribute to best practice implementation.
- Advise on tax planning strategies related to estate management.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in private client law, particularly in estate administration and tax matters.
- Strong drafting skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage sensitive client interactions with empathy, discretion, and professionalism.
- Effective negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Organised and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- A solid understanding of current legislation and regulatory requirements.
