Private Client Solicitor
Our Bristol based independent law firm is looking for a talented and motivated Private Client Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years’ experience to join the team at their reputable law firm.

Their services cover a wide-range of cross-border legal issues such as corporate law, criminal law, debt collection, employment law, family law, wills and probate, and property law.
As a Private Client Solicitor, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert legal advice and assistance to clients, safeguarding client interests and ensuring their affairs are managed effectively.
The role what you will be doing:
- Manage a caseload of private client matters, primarily focusing on probate and estate administration.
- Provide comprehensive legal advice to clients on all aspects of probate, wills, and estate planning.
- Handle complex probate cases efficiently, including those involving high net worth estates, trusts, and tax planning.
- Assist clients with drafting wills, lasting powers of attorney, and other related documents.
- Liaise with clients, beneficiaries, and other parties involved in probate cases to ensure effective communication and understanding of legal processes.
- Represent clients in contentious probate matters, including disputes over wills, inheritance, and estate administration.
- Negotiate settlements and, when necessary, represent clients in court proceedings related to contentious probate cases.
- Collaborate with other members of the private client team and provide support and guidance to junior colleagues when required.
The ideal candidate:
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years of PQE in private client law.
- Strong experience in probate and estate administration, including handling complex cases.
- Excellent knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Wills Act, Trusts Law, and Inheritance Act.
- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely to clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills, with the ability to represent clients effectively in court.
- Experienced in contentious probate matters, with a proven track record of successfully resolving disputes.
- A member of the Law Society and Private Client Section (desirable).

Salary and benefits:
- Salary £30k-£40k
