We are seeking a dedicated Paralegal to join a team in Bexleyheath. This role is ideal for a professional who has experience in handling a wide range of private client matters including wills, estates, trusts, and power of attorney. The successful candidate will support our legal team by providing high-quality legal assistance, ensuring efficient case management and client satisfaction. We are specifically looking for a Private Client Paralegal capable of meeting with clients to take detailed instructions, drafting Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), and managing probate administration cases from inception to completion under supervision.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist solicitors in managing a caseload of private client matters, including wills, probate, trusts, and powers of attorney.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents under the supervision of a solicitor.
  • Prepare and manage case files, ensuring all necessary information is accurate and readily available.
  • Communicate with clients, providing updates and gathering necessary documentation in a professional manner.
  • Support the legal team in court preparations and during client meetings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Relevant paralegal qualification or equivalent experience in private client law.
  • Experience in handling a comprehensive range of private client matters is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong attention to detail.
