Principle Engineer (Java Microservices & AWS EKS)6 Month ContractLocation: London (Hybrid)

Lorien's UK leading Investment banking client are currently looking for a highly skilled Principle Engineer to join the team on an initial 6-month contract.

Skills & Competencies

• Own SBP platform architecture and set engineering direction across a global team of ~60 engineers
• Directly line manage 4 UK-based mid-level Java engineers, while providing technical leadership to the wider global delivery team
• Define reusable orchestration patterns to accelerate onboarding of new servicing journeys
• Guide the migration and containerisation of Java microservices to AWS (ECS/EKS)
• Review and sign off engineering estimates across multi-region delivery pods
