Principal Electrical Design Engineer - Reed : Job Details

Newcastle is our longest standing UK office and has a truly diverse team representing engineering, sustainability, leadership and shared services functions. Currently one of the additions we are looking to make to the team is for a Principal Electrical Design Engineer.

What you'll do:

Your focus will be on designing electrical systems and solutions for complex and challenging global data centre projects.

• Engineering leadership - Act as the lead engineer and liaise with the Client and external design team as necessary for successful delivery of projects. Provide electrical building engineering services design to buildings and infrastructure.
• Team Leadership - Manage a multi-disciplinary design team to ensure successful preparation and delivery on project objectives.
• Lead on engineering quality - Compile specifications, drawings and relevant contract documents and maintain the required technical quality of work, ensuring that designs comply with the relevant Codes, Standards, Regulations and Procedures.
