  • Degree-qualified in Building Services, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Chartered or working towards CEng status with a recognised institution (e.g., IET, CIBSE)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical building services design
  • Proficient with software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Amtech, NES, Cymap, and MS Office
  • Commercially aware, confident, and client-facing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead electrical design across a variety of building projects
  • Mentor junior and intermediate engineers, fostering technical growth
  • Act as a primary contact for clients, consultants, and project teams
  • Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and contract documentation
  • Ensure designs comply with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
  • Support project planning, budgeting, and fee proposals
  • Contribute to business development and client relationship management
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, legislation, and best practices
