Principal ConsultantApplication Deadline: 29 August 2025 Department: Consulting Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: London UK Reporting To: Antonia Callingham Compensation: £61,600 - £92,400 / year DescriptionThe role will be a specialist in the area of resourcing & recruitment in which they work. This role will lead a Team(s) of Consultants/Senior/Lead Consultants to deliver solutions for our Clients. Providing opportunities through direct or indirect Business development, the role will coordinate the planning and implantation of individual or large-scale resourcing/recruitment solutions for our Clients. It will also be a requirement of the role to provide support during the bidding process for RFI/RFP's (Request for Information/Request for proposals) from Clients. The role will be responsible for the performance of the Team they lead whilst providing coaching, development and support through regular 121's and in line with the Davies employee Personal Development program. Key Responsibilities• Supporting the business development area of the business • Own the end-to-end journey from the outset of Client requirements/solutions • Coach & develop Consultants, Senior consultants & Lead Consultants in your Team • Build and develop strong Client relationships that last • Responsible for a number of key Client accounts • Working with Consultants to qualify business development opportunities • Have strong market knowledge in your area of expertise • Focus on own development in areas where development has been identified • Using Davies suite of technology alongside social media and CV libraries to advertise, market, and source • Demonstrate the Davies values and behaviours to your Team • Attending Client briefings for vacancies and assess client requirements alongside your manager. • Manage candidates from end to end - research/recruit/source/deliver • Provide advice guidance and coaching to candidates on interviewing and skills testing • Check client requirements in line with key processes and legislation. • Ownership of continuous improvement across our business area Skills, Knowledge & Expertise• A Leadership mindset • Excellent communication skills • Proven experience in Business development • Proven experience/success in maintaining long lasting Client Relationships • Self-motivated, success driven, confident and an active listener • Enjoys an autonomous approach • Always looking at ways to improve how we work • Resilient • Strong stakeholder skills Job BenefitsDavies are committed to being a diverse and inclusive workplace.
