KS1 Teaching Assistant – Doncaster Start Date: 1st September 2025Location: Doncaster, DN2Pay: £90 per dayHours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pmContract: Until Christmas (with potential to extend)

Are you an experienced KS1 Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? Reed Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and knowledgeable TA to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Doncaster.

You’ll be working within a KS1 classroom, supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) – primarily non-behavioural. The role involves:

• Delivering targeted phonics support (strong knowledge of phonics is essential)
• Providing 1:1 and small group interventions
• Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to tailor learning experiences
• Creating a nurturing and engaging environment for all learners

• Proven experience working with children with additional needs
• Strong understanding of phonics and experience delivering phonics sessions
• A calm, patient and proactive approach
• A genuine passion for helping children thrive
