Primary Teacher - Reed : Job Details

We are seeking a Qualified Teacher to join our dynamic team. While experience within a SEMH/SEN specialist provision is desirable, we welcome applications from those currently working in mainstream or college settings. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering all lessons across KS2 and will receive tailored training and development to meet both the needs of the school and their career progression.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Plan and teach well-structured lessons that engage and motivate students.
• Manage classes effectively, using approaches tailored to students' needs to inspire and motivate them.
• Effectively manage student anxiety to ensure a safe and enjoyable working environment.
• Understand and implement assessment strategies for the relevant subject and curriculum areas, including statutory assessment requirements.
• Dedicate efforts to meet the diverse needs of all students and make learning enjoyable and effective.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience in teaching at any key stage, with a focus on KS2.
• Experience within a SEMH/SEN specialist provision is desirable but not essential.
• Strong understanding of subject specialism (desired qualification in subject specialism).
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and support students.
• Passionate about education and committed to professional development and continuous learning.
