Primary Teacher - SANZA Teaching Agency : Job Details

SANZA Teaching Agency is proud to be working with a vibrant and inclusive primary school in the London Borough of Islington to recruit a talented and experienced KS1 Teacher for the full academic year, starting 1st September 2025.

This well-established two-form entry school is known for its commitment to nurturing the whole child and delivering an enriching, broad curriculum. They are now seeking a confident and engaging Key Stage 1 Primary Teacher who can bring energy, structure, and creativity to the classroom.

Location: Islington, North LondonStart Date: 1st September 2025Contract: Full-time, Full Academic Year (until July 2026)Pay: MPS3 - MPS5 (£218.13 to £241.38 per day PAYE)Please note: ECTs are not being considered for this position

• Full-time Key Stage 1 class teacher position within a friendly and well-supported primary school

• You'll be responsible for a Year 1 or Year 2 class (depending on your preference and experience)

• Delivering well-planned, differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 national curriculum

• Using effective assessment strategies to monitor progress and raise attainment

• Working collaboratively with your parallel class teacher and phase leader to maintain a consistent approach to teaching and learning

• Prior experience teaching in a KS1 classroom in a UK primary school

• A clear understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and how to adapt learning to meet the needs of all pupils

• Strong classroom management and the ability to build positive, trusting relationships with children and families

• A creative approach to teaching and the confidence to bring fun and learning together

• A team player attitude with a genuine desire to make a difference in children's educational journey

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
• Full right to work in the UK
• A full employment history
