We've teamed up with a fantastic primary school in the LS14 area to find a passionate Teaching Assistant. This is a brilliant opportunity to be a crucial part of a child's learning journey and a valued member of the school team.

• Supporting teachers in their daily lessons and activities.

• Giving extra help to students, both individually and in groups.

• Encouraging good behaviour and a positive learning environment.

• Organising and preparing all the necessary classroom materials.

• Supervising pupils during various school activities.

• Maintaining records of student progress and development.

• Collaborating with fellow teachers and staff to support the school.

We're looking for an empathetic and skilled individual who is committed to child development! To be a great fit for this job, you should have:

• A Level 2 or 3 TA qualification, or equivalent experience.

• At least 6 months of recent experience in a UK primary school setting.

• Strong verbal communication skills.

• Proven ability in classroom and behaviour management.

• A solid understanding of the primary curriculum and how children learn.

• Have an enhanced child DBS or willingness to get one.

• The ability to be highly organised and manage your time well.

• A kind, patient, and understanding attitude.

• A strong team player mentality.
