About the position of Primary Servicing Specialist:

We are recruiting for a Primary Servicing Specialist to join a dedicated servicing team, supporting mortgage customers and ensuring a first-class customer journey throughout the life of their loan.

Responsibilities for the position of Primary Servicing Specialist:

• Manage customer calls, post and email enquiries within SLAs.
• Check and validate new account uploads.
• Submit Bacs files and action unpaid direct debits or payments.
• Allocate cash accurately and ensure funds are posted to the correct accounts.
• Manage servicing banking, including card and cash allocation, redemptions and part settlements.
• Scan and update title documents on customer files.
• Process redemptions and capital reductions through to completion.
• Action deeds of postponement and easement requests to completion.
• Handle E-DS1 uploads, payment-holiday overpayment exits, refunds and credit-arrears reporting.
• Liaise with solicitors regarding missing title registrations.
• Complete CRA (CAIS) returns.
• Review and action credit balances at month-end.
• Process monthly consolidation refunds from the finance team.
• Resolve system exceptions between Phoebus and Fusion.
• Action Bank of England base-rate changes and assist with related complaints.
• Handle third-party calls relating to loan administration and queries.

Experience and skills required for the role of Primary Servicing Specialist:

• Experience in servicing residential mortgages is essential from a primary servicing or specialist servicing environment
• Well organised
• Able to work under pressure
• Good telephone skills and attention to detail
