I am recruiting for a Pricing & Stock Administrator to join my clients Specialist Team based in Staines. This is a key role within a small, multifunctional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including pricing, forecasting, stock control, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Calculate and issue pricing to internal and external customers daily.
- Conduct forecasting for both internal use and third-party suppliers.
- Liaise with the Terminal Operations Team for daily meetings regarding blending, planning, stock levels, paperwork, and logistics around bulk barge deliveries.
- Issue testing and sample requests to the laboratory and operations team.
- Reconcile and issue stock reports regularly throughout the month to ensure accurate stock levels at month end/opening.
- Manage stock control, including investigating stock gains and losses, recording stock levels, and month-end stock reporting.
- Process orders and plan forward orders with suppliers.
- Check, approve, and process supplier invoices daily.
- Provide KPI reports to internal and external stakeholders upon request.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Excel and all other Microsoft applications.
- Proven analytical skills.
- Organised and self-motivated with experience in a busy administrative environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain focus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Team mentality and a “can do” attitude.
- Experience is prioritised over education level, but good mathematical and analytical skills are expected.
