Selby Jennings have partnered with a fast-growing underwriting agency in London, currently seeking a talented Pricing Actuary / Senior Pricing Actuary to join their dynamic actuarial team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an analytically minded and commercially astute individual to play a pivotal role in shaping pricing strategies across a diverse portfolio of niche and complex risks. The successful candidate will work closely with underwriters, providing actuarial support for referrals, bespoke pricing models, and portfolio optimisation initiatives.

The role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and stakeholders, with responsibilities spanning experience and exposure rating, rate change analysis, benchmarking, and horizon scanning. You'll be expected to challenge underwriting assumptions, recommend tailored pricing solutions, and contribute to strategic pricing initiatives across the business.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and is passionate about driving underwriting performance through data-driven insights. You'll also mentor junior team members and support broader actuarial and exposure management functions. Role Requirements:

• Nearly / Newly (up to 3 years PQE) Qualified Actuary, through IFoA or equivalent.

• 5+ years of commercial or specialty lines pricing experience.

• Strong actuarial pricing skills across multiple classes.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsets.

• Coding skills in R, Python, SQL etc., considered a plus.

• Prior knowledge of the Lloyd's insurance market advantageous.
