Machine Operator - Packing Specialists

Circa £39k-£40k + bonus + amazing benefits

Vanta Staffing are the exclusive staffing partner to a well-established manufacturer of high-end architectural glass systems.

Due to an expanding business & internal promotions, we are looking for 1 Machine Operator in their busy workshop.

The successful Machine Operator duties will include;

• Setting up, operating & maintaing sealing manufacturing machinery as per SOP & In line with health and safety
• Manufacturing seals and packaging as per client spec
• Work to current standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
• Ad-here to all workshop SOP’s and co’ health and safety procedures
• Communicate with team leaders, managers and clients to ensure streamlined production
• Update and manage their computer systems (full training provided)
• Quality Check all finished items pointing out errors or areas for improvement
• Hours of work, Monday to Friday, Rotating shifts (6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, 10pm - 6am)

Required experience & characteristics;

• We are looking for an experienced press setter, who has worked on Bruderer, Invernizzi or Hydraulic Presses, and aware of Regulations for working on presses PUWER and LOLER.
• Strong communication and confident to point out mistakes
• Live within commutable distance to Park Royal
• Reliable & conscientious
• Courteous, polite & professional
