A highly regarded and long-established law firm in Guildford is seeking a proactive and experienced Legal Practice Manager to join its leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in the smooth running and strategic development of a busy legal practice.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the practice, ensuring efficient service delivery
- Lead and support the administrative and reception teams, fostering a positive and productive working environment
- Manage office facilities and liaise with IT providers to ensure smooth operations
Finance Support
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Oversee billing processes, credit control, and supplier management
- Work closely with external accountants and internal stakeholders to ensure financial compliance
HR & Recruitment
- Support recruitment processes including advertising, interviewing, and onboarding
- Maintain HR records and support employee relations and performance management
- Champion staff wellbeing and professional development initiatives
Compliance & Risk
- Ensure the firm meets all regulatory and compliance obligations, including SRA standards
- Maintain and update policies and procedures in line with best practice
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a legal practice management or similar operational role
- Strong understanding of legal compliance, HR processes, and financial administration
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Familiarity with legal practice management systems is desirable
