You will play a crucial role in raising awareness of their impactful campaigns and resources by securing media coverage, creating digital content and engaging in promotional activities.

Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage all incoming press enquiries and actively seek PR opportunities across the business’s portfolios
- Gain media coverage for their undercover investigations in national media and be an active spokesperson on national TV, radio or other press opportunities
- Write and distribute engaging press releases, articles and blog posts. Add media releases to the website
- Organise and oversee media interviews with agencies and work closely with influencers and celebrities to grow their media presence.
- Develop and manage their celebrity engagement alongside the marketing team
- Establish, build and develop media contacts, including researching journalists
- Support the Head of Communications and campaigns team in developing and implementing promotional campaigns and marketing materials.
- Oversee their presence in print media, including writing a monthly column for their Food & Living magazine and organising monthly full-page adverts
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 1–18 months of experience in PR; prior experience in journalism, marketing, or communications in the charity sector is a bonus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative mindset and strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working across multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines
- Confident and friendly approach when dealing with media, influencers and partners
- Some experience writing press releases or media content is desirable
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn and take initiative
