We're looking for a PR Manager to join our External Affairs team on a permanent basis, helping to promote and protect E.ON UK's reputation among consumers alongside a dynamic team. This role will be based at our Citigen base in London and offers a hybrid working model.
Reporting to the Consumer PR Lead, you'll deliver compelling media relations activity that builds trust, raises awareness of our innovative products and services, and highlights how E.ON is making new energy work - for everyone - from helping its customers to lower their bills to positively impacting the communities we serve. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure delivery of a pipeline of stories which are credible, relevant and resonant.

Here's what you'll be doing
- Deliver creative stories and campaigns that engage consumer audiences.
- Respond to media enquiries as part of our ‘always-on’ press office and on-call rota.
- Monitor and manage issues, helping to safeguard and strengthen E.ON’s reputation among consumers.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across E.ON Next and the wider business to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with E.ON’s strategy.
- Analyse PR output and coverage for data-driven decision making.
What we need from you
- Strong media relations experience, ideally delivering national campaigns for consumer brands.
- A journalistic mindset with a great nose for a story and strong writing skills.
- Proven experience managing issues and delivering effective communications under pressure.
- Good commercial awareness.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate across complex environments.
- A proactive, energetic approach with agility, integrity, and resilience.
- A passion for turning complex ideas into compelling storytelling.
