PPAP/Quality Engineer - Jonathan Lee Recruitment : Job Details

As a Quality Engineer, you will provide quality support to internal and external customers during project introduction through to PPAP submission and signoff. You will also be reviewing supplier-submitted PPAPs and ISIRs and will be the point of contact for customers with regards to supply issues.

In your first few weeks in this Quality Engineer role, you can expect to:

• Review supplier submitted PPAP's and ISIRs
• Point of contact for customers with regards supply issues
• Control of Non-Conformance by raising returns notes etc
• Generate and manage Corrective Action Reports (CARs)
• Inspect parts to customer drawing or international standards.

To apply for this Quality Engineer role, you will need a working knowledge of the requirements of IATF 16949/ISO 9001. You will also require skills in the following areas:

• Root cause analysis 8D
• Internal auditing
• Core tools APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC and MSA
• IMDS submissions
• Measuring equipment such as mics, verniers, thread gauges, hardness tester, etc.
