The Role: PPA Teacher

The school is seeking a flexible, confident, and skilled PPA Teacher to join their teaching team. You will be covering teachers' Planning, Preparation and Assessment time, delivering lessons across different year groups.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Teaching pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2

  • Managing behaviour confidently and consistently in line with the school's values

  • Adapting plans where needed to meet class needs

  • Creating a positive, calm, and structured learning environment

  • Providing verbal or written feedback as required

  • Collaborating closely with class teachers and senior leaders to maintain continuity

  • Supporting wider school initiatives and contributing positively to school culture

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)

  • Have strong experience across primary year groups

  • Demonstrate excellent behaviour management

  • Be adaptable and confident working with a range of classes and abilities

  • Communicate clearly with staff, pupils, and parents
