As they continue to grow, they are seeking a Post Completion Paralegal to join their residential property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who enjoys the detail-oriented aspects of conveyancing and is looking to become part of a supportive and forward-thinking legal practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the post-completion process for residential conveyancing matters.
- Submitting AP1 applications via the Land Registry portal.
- Handling Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) submissions through the HMRC platform.
- Monitoring and chasing outstanding documents and information from clients, lenders, and other third parties.
- Ensuring accurate and timely updates to case management systems.
- Liaising with clients and providing clear, professional updates as required.
- Assisting fee earners with administrative support as needed to ensure smooth file closures.
- Maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a post-completion or conveyancing support role (minimum 6-12 months).
- Solid understanding of the post-completion process, including Land Registry and SDLT submissions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and highly organised.
- Ability to manage multiple files in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient in using case management systems and online portals (e.g., HM Land Registry, HMRC).
