Policy Coverage Lawyer - Sacco Mann : Job Details

Our client is seeking a motivated Lawyer with experience in insurance litigation and recoveries to join a well-established team based in Bolton. In this role, you will manage a caseload of commercial property recovery files, engaging directly with clients and handling complex legal matters. This is a technical, varied role with room for client interaction, training delivery, and excellent development opportunities.

As a Policy Coverage Lawyer, you will:

• Review and report on new matters.
• Conduct legal investigations and review evidence.
• Draft legal documents and correspondence.
• Instruct counsel and experts.
• Handle disclosure, pre-action and interim applications.
• Engage in settlement negotiations, including Part 36 offers.
• Prepare for and attend court trials and ADR, including mediation.
• Provide support on training and seminar delivery for clients.
• Maintain compliance with SRA Standards & Regulations.

The Ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in defendant insurance litigation, ideally in recoveries.
• Knowledge of household and commercial recovery claims.
• Excellent case management and organisation skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritise complex caseloads.
• Strong communication and client relationship abilities.
• Confidence to contribute to client seminars and workshops.
