PLM Solution Architect - Cimpa : Job Details

Are you looking to build and develop a career within the aviation consulting environment? If so, we currently have an outstanding opportunity for a PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Solution Architect to join our dynamic team.

We are looking for an experienced PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) Solution Architect who will play a key role in leading successful customer deployments of Aras Innovator solutions.

You will lead the technical implementation team in the analysis of business needs, creation of system requirements from customer requirements, planning, design, configuration, integration, testing, establishing performance metrics and deployment of PLM solutions.

What you will be doing:

• You will be leading a technical implementation team in all aspects of solution deployment.
• You will facilitate workshops, develop solutions, build consensus across all stakeholders to ensure timely and successful delivery of technology aligned to business value.
• You will develop conceptual solution architecture using combination of standard and custom applications to produce end-to-end customer solution.
• You will lead as well as support the development of requirements specifications, Use Cases, and functional specifications for customer sign off (MoSCoW methodology)
• Perform solution analysis and develop customer facing proposals and contribute to the development of proposals / statements of work.
• Be responsible for transforming customer requirements to technical solutions through a thorough understanding of the Aras Innovator suite of tools.
• You will lead or participate in the delivery of Proof-of-Concept engagements at key prospects.
• Provide input to the professional services team regarding methodology and tools.
• You will supervise and manage technical teams located either onsite or offshore as appropriate.

What you’ll bring:

• Strong rapport and relationship building skills with both internal individuals and external customers - Professionally interact and communicate with customers and internal team members
• Management of deployment process including development, test and production environments
• Working knowledge of PLM deployment
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Technically self-sufficient with data modelling techniques, SQL Server and Microsoft Office products. Installation and configuration of SQL Server, SQL Scripting (Transact SQL), SQL triggers, stored procedures, functions, etc.
• Knowledge of web programming languages such as: C# (.NET), JavaScript, HTML, XML, XSL
• You will have a thorough understanding of large-scale enterprise application deployment methodologies with experience leading teams in an Agile / Scrum environment.
• Must be able to write clear, understandable Requirements, SOW, Specification documents, and Use Cases.

Employment Type - Permanent, Full-time

Security Level - eligible for SC clearance

Salary - up to £70,000, 25 days holiday, 6% variable Bonus, Medical & Dental Insurance, Pension

Location - Bristol

We operate a hybrid working principle, so the role could partially be worked from UK home as well as being delivered on Client and CIMPA sites, with regular visits to site as needed. Travel may be required.
