KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectorsJob Title: Plastering Tutor (Trainee or Qualified Tutor opportunity)Location: Centre basedSalary: up to £34,000 (Depending on skills and experience)Type: Full Time, PermanentEssential Criteria:

• Hold own Plastering qualification at level 2 or above
• Willingness to work towards PTLLS/AET and/or Assessors Award - fully funded and supported by employer
• Have experience of delivering training ‘on the job’ or workshops to 1-1 / groups of learners
• Must hold solid occupational competency within Plastering,
• Must be IT Literate.

Duties include:

• Deliver vocational qualifications in Plastering up to Level 2, to learners who are looking to improve their employability prospects, skills and knowledge.
• Delivery will be in small groups and include providing support with long term career goals.
• Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners skills knowledge and behaviours
• Monitor learner attendance and progress through regular learner assessment and reviews.
• Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
• Embedding of Maths and English into sessions.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

• Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
• Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners
