Planned Works Manager Based in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire37 hours per weekSalary: £ 52,408 - £58,231 per annumIn this newly created role, you’ll take the lead on our planned works programme - overseeing the procurement and management of major improvement projects like kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors, roofs, and heating systems, with an annual budget of up to £10 million. Working closely with contractors, you will ensure every project is delivered safely, cost-effectively, and to the highest standards, while keeping value for money and compliance firmly in focus. Alongside this, you’ll manage a team of Asset Surveyors, help shape long-term programmes of work, support stock condition data collection, and provide expert technical advice on building construction and defects.We’re looking for someone with…- Track record of managing complex planned maintenance contracts- Experience of managing large budgets, up to £10 million per annum- Experience of managing and motivating a team- Comprehensive knowledge of building principles- Practical knowledge of health and safety regulations related to building projects- Proficiency in the use of information technology- Good technical and communication skills- The ability to manage your own workload- A full, valid driving licence and access to their own vehicleYou will also be required to have a basic criminal record (DBS) check, which we will pay for.We’re a social business, based in Hoddesdon and across southeast Hertfordshire, helping local people by renting or selling affordable homes.
