Pipe Welder - EFAB Resourcing Ltd : Job Details

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Pipe Welder to join our team on a piping installation project. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and assembling piping systems to precise specifications, ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards.

• Perform welding operations on various piping materials including carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy pipes.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings, isometrics, and welding procedures.
• Prepare pipe surfaces and joints for welding, including cleaning, and alignment.
• Conduct visual inspections and non-destructive testing (NDT) as required.
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Adhere to all site safety protocols and permit-to-work systems.
• Collaborate with pipefitters, supervisors, and QA/QC personnel to ensure project quality and timelines.
• Complete weld logs and documentation as per project requirements.

• Proven experience as a Pipe Welder in industrial or commercial piping projects.
• Proficiency in TIG, MIG, and Stick welding techniques.
• Valid welding certifications.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
• Familiarity with welding procedures and quality standards.
• Good physical condition and ability to work in confined spaces or at height.

• Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or power generation sectors.
• Knowledge of pipe spool fabrication and installation.
• Understanding of welding metallurgy and heat treatment processes.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
