JB430 Pipe FitterLocation: ManchesterSalary: £19 - £23 per hourHours: 07:00 - 16:30 Monday to Thursday & 07:00 - 15:30 on Friday 44 Hour OverviewFirst Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Pipe Fitter on behalf of one of our clients.Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.Duties and Responsibilities for the Pipe Fitter:

• Measure and mark pipes for cutting, threading, and welding using various tools and equipment; Threading and ending pipe by hand or with pipe bending machine
• Repair systems using various welding and plumbing techniques
• Attach pipes to structures and bend into position
• Sealing routes of pipework and ensuring water ingress is eliminated
• Perform test on your work or work of others to ensure there are no leaks or weak joints
• Welding, soldering, brazing, fusing of pipework
• Read and interpret specifications to determine layout requirements; Plan and install piping systems in industrial units/vehicles

Skills and Qualifications for the Pipe Fitter:

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Fiiter
• You have an excellent understanding of the manufacturing process
• You have your own transportation or can reliably travel to site
