Pharmaceutical Warehouse Manager – Swindon

Opportunity:

Are you currently working as a Warehouse Manager looking for a new job? Do you have a Fork Truck license? Have you managed employees and have good experience of using Warehouse Stock Management Systems? Have you worked to Health and Safety legislation, COSHH and current Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP)? Yes then this is the role for you!

Your role as a Pharmaceutical Warehouse Manager based in Swindon will involve:

• Responsibility for the safe and effective operation of warehouse activities.
• Responsibility for the operation and accuracy of the Warehouse Stock Management System.
• Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with current Health and Safety legislation, COSHH, and current Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
• Direct employee management.
• Be fully conversant on Warehouse Management Systems.
• Ensuring that high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and housekeeping are maintained within all Warehouse areas both internally and externally.
• Establishing and controlling the warehouse KPI’s to ensure effective & efficient management of the warehouse operation.
• Managing the warehouse capacity through proactive control of material storage and also the timely destruction of expired product, rejects, active waste, and items with customer approval for destruction.
• Effectively managing document and process changes through the TrackWise QMS system and electronic documents management system, EDMS.

The hours of work are:

• Two days, then two nights then four off: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am;
• If there were no night shift capability available, would also consider: 7.00 am to 7.00 pm, 10.00 am to 10.00 pm.

This is a 3 months contract which will be reviewed for a possible extension or go permanent however this is all dependent on the candidate and business performance. The PAYE rate is £23.50 per hour.

Skills:

To apply for the Pharmaceutical Warehouse Manager role you will have the following skills:

• Pharmaceutical warehouse management experience.
• Fork truck licenses - any combination of counterbalance truck, narrow aisle or ride on powered pallet truck.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
