Job Title: Personal Tax Senior - Assistant Manager

Location: Hertfordshire, WD6

Salary: Up to £62,000!

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Personal Tax Senior/Assistant Manager, you'll be at the heart of their thriving tax practice:

• Client Advisory Excellence: Review and advise on complex residency and non-domiciliary status matters, including remittance basis charge implications
• Diverse Tax Preparation: Handle tax returns across individuals, sole traders, partnerships, and trusts
• Technical Expertise: Prepare specialized forms (P11D's, PSA, ATED's) and elections tailored to client needs
• Client Communication: Respond to queries with full confidentiality and transparency, consistently exceeding expectations
• Project Management: Deliver all work within budgets and timeframes while keeping leadership informed
• Technical Research: Stay current with tax developments and conduct in-depth research for clients and consultants

What They're Looking For -

Essential Experience:

• Professional practice experience in taxation (4+ tax seasons advantageous)
• Solid understanding of SRT, non-dom tax treatment, and remittance basis
• Proficiency with taxation software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
• Strong attention to detail with ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Self-management skills and ability to work autonomously

Highly Desirable:

• ATT qualification
