Description

  • Manage a small portfolio of personal tax clients, ensuring timely and accurate compliance work.
  • Provide expert tax planning and advisory services to clients, addressing their specific needs.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering their development and growth.
  • Review P11D tax returns prepared by junior staff, ensuring high standards are maintained.
  • Identify opportunities for tax savings and proactively advise clients on potential benefits.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive client solutions.
  • Stay updated with changes in tax legislation and ensure compliance across all client accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.

Profile

A successful Personal Tax Manager / Senior Manager should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in tax or accountancy, such as ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent.
  • Proven expertise in personal tax compliance and advisory services.
  • Experience managing a client portfolio within the professional services industry.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide and support a tax team effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and colleagues confidently.
