PAUp to £40,000 FTE(£19.24ph)Felixstowe30Hours a week- Monday- Friday- Site basedTerm Time- + One weekTemporary role until April possibly ongoingPure are delighted to supporting an education trust with the recruitment of an experienced PA to the Headmaster.This role is term-time based plus one additional week, you will be required to work 30hours a week (school hours) The Personal Assistant to the Headteacher will provide high-quality administrative and organisational support to ensure the smooth running of the school and the efficient day-to-day management of the Headteacher’s office. The postholder will act as the first point of contact for parents, staff and external agencies, handling communications with professionalism, discretion, and sensitivity.They will also take responsibility for key administrative areas, including, but not limited to
  • Attendance monitoring,
  • HR administration; cover, minutes, website updates, policy management, and basic financial and ordering tasks,
  • General administration as directed by the Headteacher.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience managing sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and school management systems  
  • Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and work calmly under pressure.
  • A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting school leadership.
Desirable
  • Experience working within an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of school attendance systems, HR procedures, or finance software.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and data protection principles.
General
  • Maintain confidentiality, at all times.
  • Uphold the ethos, vision, and values of the school.
  • Comply with policies relating to child protection, health and safety, and equality.
  • Undertake any other duties commensurate with the role as directed by the Headteacher.

Salary : 38000 - 40000
