Personal Assistant to Chief Executive Officer
- Contract: Permanent, 30 hours per week, term time plus two weeks
- Salary: £23,127
- Location: PL6
We are seeking a Personal Assistant (PA) to provide high-quality executive support, ensuring the efficient and professional operation of the Chief Executive Officer’s (CEO) office within a dynamic Trust. This role is pivotal in managing complex diaries, handling some HR-related matters, and coordinating communication between the CEO, senior leaders, academy staff, and external stakeholders.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage the CEO’s complex diary, correspondence, and meeting schedules.
- Prepare reports, briefing papers, and ensure the CEO is well-prepared for meetings.
- Act as a key liaison for the CEO across the organisation and with external parties.
- Clerk for the Trust Board and its committees, including preparing agendas, distributing papers, taking accurate minutes, and following up on actions to ensure effective governance.
- Serve as the Trust’s Staff Development Coordinator, supporting the planning, organisation, and monitoring of professional development activities.
- Maintain training records and coordinate Trust-wide CPD programmes.
- Assist with the implementation of staff development initiatives aligned to strategic priorities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational or multi-site environment.
- Strong ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work proactively.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with senior leadership.
- Experience in clerking and understanding of governance processes within an educational setting is highly desirable.
