Job Description :

Our client, a pioneering production company based in Wigan, are looking for an experienced and detail orientated Personal Assistant to support the Managing Director with day-to-day support. This is a full-time, permanent position and is located in Wigan.

Benefits:

  • Salary: £30,000 to £40,000, depending on experience
  • Hours – Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
  • Free Parking

Role Profile:

As Personal Assistant, you will be responsible for effectively managing the Managing Director’s schedule. You will effectively manage and maintain the MD’s schedule, ensuring all meetings, deadlines, and appointments are well-coordinated and prioritised. You will attend key meetings when required, take accurate minutes, and follow up on agreed actions. This is a role suited to an organised and dedicated individual who has experience within a similar position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage and maintain the MD’s schedule, ensuring all meetings, deadlines, and appointments are well-coordinated and prioritised.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing communications (emails, calls, correspondence), acting as a first point of contact on behalf of the MD.
  • Organise complex travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, transport and itineraries, and accompany the MD on trips approximately 1–2 times per month.
  • Manage and track a variety of business-related tasks and projects, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
  • Handle sensitive information with the highest level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Anticipate needs, resolve issues independently, and support decision-making to ensure the MD can operate at maximum effectiveness.

Specification:

  • 3 years’ experience as a PA/EA, ideally supporting a Director or Senior Executive.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex calendars, travel arrangements and conflicting priorities.
  • Proficiency in using modern productivity tools and platforms (Google Workspace highly advantageous).
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work proactively.
  • Willingness and ability to travel occasionally with overnight stays.
  • A calm, composed, and professional demeanour, even in fast-changing situations.
