Your Role & ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Occupational Therapist, you'll be responsible for:
Delivering occupational therapy assessments and recovery-focused interventions for adults with severe and enduring mental health needs
Leading and co-ordinating the therapeutic programme, including both group and individual sessions
Working as an integrated member of the MDT, ensuring service-users' occupational needs are fully addressed
Supervising Occupational Therapy Assistants and contributing to the development of the OT team
Supporting service-users to achieve recovery goals and greater independence through meaningful activity
Promoting best practice and person-centred care in line with HCPC standards
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
Current HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
Proven experience in mental health settings (essential)
Strong clinical skills with the ability to plan, deliver, and evaluate interventions
Experience running group and individual therapeutic sessions
Ability to provide supervision and support to junior staff
A genuine passion for empowering service-users with complex needs
This is a full-time permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (09:00-17:00).
