Salary: Starting from £36,500 per annum (dependent on experience and interview)Location: BirminghamShift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00 (37.5 hours per week)Start Date: 2-4 weeksDuration: Permanent

As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you'll be responsible for:

• Delivering occupational therapy assessments and recovery-focused interventions for adults with severe and enduring mental health needs

• Leading and co-ordinating the therapeutic programme, including both group and individual sessions

• Working as an integrated member of the MDT, ensuring service-users' occupational needs are fully addressed

• Supervising Occupational Therapy Assistants and contributing to the development of the OT team

• Supporting service-users to achieve recovery goals and greater independence through meaningful activity

• Promoting best practice and person-centred care in line with HCPC standards

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Current HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist

• Proven experience in mental health settings (essential)

• Strong clinical skills with the ability to plan, deliver, and evaluate interventions

• Experience running group and individual therapeutic sessions

• Ability to provide supervision and support to junior staff

• A genuine passion for empowering service-users with complex needs

This is a full-time permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (09:00-17:00).
