People Services Advisor - Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance : Job Details

Are you an enthusiastic, resilient, and committed HR professional looking for your next challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and people-focused individual to join our People & Organisational Development (POD) team at Trinity Laban.

Our POD team consists of five dedicated professionals, delivering high-quality HR services across the organisation. Led by the Head of People & OD, the team plays a vital role in supporting the Conservatoire’s strategic and operational goals.

We are looking for someone who is:• Creative and solutions focused - able to think innovatively and respond flexibly to changing situations• Curious and dynamic - with a passion for continuous improvement and a drive to deliver exceptional service• Customer focused - able to provide clear, confident advice in a friendly and professional manner

As a People Services Advisor, you will provide front-line support and guidance to both staff and managers on a wide range of HR matters. You'll be the first point of contact for People Services queries, responding via in-person meetings, MS Teams, phone, and email. Your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will help you build strong working relationships across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:• Delivering a responsive and efficient advisory service to managers and staff• Supporting the application and development of HR policies and procedures• Assisting with employee relations issues, including case management• Maintaining and updating HR systems and records accurately

What we’re looking for:• Proven experience working in a busy HR environment• Solid understanding of HR policies, employment law, and best practices• Experience advising on employee relations issues• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills• A collaborative team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
