Main Responsibilities

  • Providing expert guidance on various personnel matters, employing a risk-based methodology.
  • Coaching business leaders to address employee relations issues proactively.
  • Utilizing data to furnish senior leadership with comprehensive insights into their respective departments' personnel dynamics.
  • Taking the lead on specific employee relations cases.
  • Assisting in the recruitment process within designated business areas, encompassing job description formulation, campaign approval, and selection procedures.
  • Collaborating with Recruitment and Learning & Development teams to ensure cohesive execution of the people strategy.
  • Conducting exit interviews and furnishing analysis on emerging trends.
  • Supporting organizational change endeavors throughout the institution.
  • Advocating for adherence to organizational values and desired conduct among senior management.
  • Assisting managers in conflict resolution through effective mediation techniques.
  • Executing both strategic and operational people plans.
  • Crafting, overseeing, and implementing HR policies to drive cultural transformation, while staying abreast of UK employment legislation and industry best practices.
  • Providing coaching and facilitating development workshops to enhance managers' familiarity with people-related policies and procedures.

Person Specification

  • Possession of CIPD Level 5 qualification and active membership of CIPD, or equivalent relevant experience demonstrating the requisite skills and knowledge for the position.
  • Prior involvement in people (HR business) partnering with tangible evidence of proficiency.
  • Thorough understanding of UK employment legislation.
  • Experience in conducting research and drafting policies and procedures through employee consultation.
  • Previous experience within a membership organisation or NHS background
  • Previous experience within a mulit-site organisation

Salary : 48000 - 52000
