Kingswood Group is delighted to be partnering with a commercial business to recruit an experienced People Manager.
This full-time, permanent role is central to delivering both strategic and operational human resources support across the business. Occasional travel to other offices across the United Kingdom will be required.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop the People Advisory and People Administration teams
- Provide guidance on employee relations matters, performance management, organisational changes, and company policies
- Ensure human resources systems and processes are legally compliant and operating efficiently
- Oversee annual projects such as performance appraisals and gender pay gap reporting
- Support business acquisitions and ensure smooth employee integration
- Drive initiatives that enhance the employee experience and improve ways of working
- Work closely with the People Director on strategic people initiatives
- Maintain up-to-date policies, employee benefits, and internal communications
Experience and skills required
- Proven experience in a senior human resources or people management role
- Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development qualification (or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation and human resources best practice
- Confident in managing sensitive and complex employee relations cases
- Experienced people leader with excellent interpersonal skills
